Almost everyday for 12 years, Abdul malik of padinjatmuri village in Malapuram has been paddling a rubber tube across the kadalundi river. It is the shortest way for the teacher to reach his school. He reaches there in just 30 minutes; it would take one and half hours by bus. All that it costs him is the occasional change of rubber tubes. This got featured in CNN IBN news channel and spoke of this person@ determination to get to school on time to teach.
