With foreign players galore, there is so much action for forty four days-- And since it is twenty twenty , there is a result and one does not have to spend lot of time watching this. So more crowds will get to watch this sport.
With the players being bided by the franchisee , the BCCI will only become more money powered and with it is a prime target for people to take control of it- As it stands today , it is headed by a Politician and so one can safely assume that the sport will get no funds in to the right channels for it to develop -- this is one of the prime reasons that the BCCI does not want a upstart unit like ICL to thrive-- All this can happen in our land and in Cricket as India is the nation with the biggest following.

The English premier league is poised in a very infesting stage- With 35 out of the 38 matches being played out , Manchester United leads the table with 81 points , three more than their arch rivals Chelsea- The following week ManU clash with Chelsea and if they win , then they win the championship- It will be the second year in running that they claim the championship if they win-- on the other hand if Chelsea beat them , then they stand a chance to level on points but on Goal difference ManU are better placed than any team in the league- It is going to be a interesting week end of football and with the Formula 1 getting in to Europe ( The Spanish Grand Prix is over the week end as well ) , it will a be sports lovers week end over the Television and to those lucky ones who can watch it direct.
