Secret of your success in bringing turnaround of Indian Railways
Honesty , commitment , Courage Clear Vision and able leadership. We formulated all the policies keeping the common man in mine and encouraged the railway staff to work harder and deliver results
Are you satisfied with the progress of Indian railways--
We can still do more considering the constant increase in our passenger and freight load. Still there is congestion in the Railway network. My dream is to make the Indian Railways the no1 railway in the world
How will you be able to get the required huge funds for expansion , modernisation and betterment ?
WE will have joint venture arrangements, lease arrangements and will call for the bids. We will have public private partnership ( PPP ) through which we seek to have the best of both the public and private sector for the betterment of Indian railways.
What message you want to give the CA fraternity ?
CA are the eyes ears and nose of any entity. General public has faith in CA's when they look at the Balance Sheets and other accounts of the entity duly certified by them. I am happy to note that you also contribute your expertise to streamline the accounting system of the Indian Railways. I wish the CA fraternity all the best.
