He wanted the clamp on spending for elections to go-- instead he said people should give accounts for how much they spent-- The ceiling on the amount that one can spend are so low that it forces people to spend without accounting for it-- he said that the Govt had no business to be in business and privatisation should go on and Govt., can only be in areas that need them-- the Congress seems to have some jewels like Karthik that it can count on for the future.
