ManU completed a double -- they won the Champions league final against Chelsea in a pulsating final on a penalty shoot outs- ManU took the lead with a beautiful curve in by Wes Brown in to the box which Ronaldo headed in and proved that he had the big match temperament- Earlier Brown before delivering the ball in for Ronaldo to head in had a lovely one two with Paul Scholes.. It was treat to watch-
Chelsea equalised in bizarre fashion as two rebounds of Manu Defenders fell in the path of Lampard who blasted it home- there were several missed chances on either side and the game went in to the extra time with no result - The penalties went Chelsea way with Ronaldo of all people missing his kick-- and all that was needed was for the Chelsea captain John terry to slot in - Terry slipped in the rain , lost his footing and missed the penalty and that gave ManU new lifeline and it proved costly- In the sudden death , Edwin Van Sar saved for ManU and that gave him the double for this year-

The Ferraris do not do well in the Monaco circuit-- So it was surprise to see them lined up one two in the qualifying session and one thought that it was going to be a turnaround at the Monaco circuit for the Ferraris -- not to be-- Rain , a hit on the barricades that precipitated a puncture , strong driving that showed the intensity that he had as a rookie last year enabled Lewis Hamilton to win the Monaco GP and lead the table -- Hamilton has got back his life line and it is going to be trouble for the Ferraris from now on-- The most impressive driver though was the BMW driver Robert Kubica who has been improving race after race and he did not commit a mistake through the race--The Monaco Gp is a tricky track although devoid of any overtaking thrills , drivers have a touch task since the track is created out of the roads for the race to happen-- the most poignant time in the race was when Adrian Sutil of Force India who was in the fourth place was knocked out of the race by Raikonen of the Ferrari after a safety car period- Sutil was poised to win Championship points for Force India and that would have been the first for Force India , Vijay Mallya's formula one team-- not to be as Raikonen stepped late on the brakes and could not avoid the car in front and there ended Sutil's hopes-- Raikonen later apologised but that really has no meaning as the race was lost
