It was a great event to relax and laugh- As usual the star of the show was little Shravana who thundered three jokes and had the audience in peals of laughter- that set the tone for the evening - The speaker was a experience orator and a distinguished public debater-- he talked of people behaviour and gave us some great examples of how naïve people can be-- Just a example ( please read in Tamil )-- A guy who is known for his stinginess was approached by the village committee to contribute for building / renovation of the temple - he gave a check of 100,000 without hesitation-- the group was astonished and before he could re think gathered the check and went away-- it was only when they went to bank it , they realised that it was unsigned-- the ran back to the guy's house and told him politely that he had not signed -- the guy knew what he had done exactly-- he said for all good things that are done , names need not be revealed !!
I again encourage people to attend this-- It is a great stress reliever , costs nothing and you get wholesome entertainment- for those of you who want to attend , the coming Sunday ( July 30th ) is the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Humour club of Triplicane and the event is from 4 Pm to 8 Pm at the Kamaraj Hall - but you need to get tickets for this program alone -- All are not welcome but welcome with the tickets-

Casey Stoner continued his amazing comeback run with a consecutive third victory at the German GP-- With Pedrosa crashing out ( you should watch this on TV - Pedrosa lost control at a turn ,was thrown off the bike , rolled over many times and was flung in the side tyre wall but was not hurt - shows the safety taken ) , the overall lead went to Rossi who now leads the championship--
