The Saturday -- Do you get this type of frustration ?
It was one of those when things just do not go right--
It all started with filling in diesel at my regular gas station-- The Petro card that I use did not work on the card machine assigned to that issuer of the card -- that meant if the card is swiped on a another bank card machine , I will land up paying the surcharge , the avoidance of which was the precise purpose for getting a Petro card in the first place- before I could pay cash , the card was swiped on the wrong machine -- B..rrrr
Then tried to go to a offsite of one of the teams -- Rains here , no rain at the resort , some time deliberating -- then sent a SMS that I am not coming ! Will the team accept that SMS -- No .. They want you for lunch and will not eat till you land up -- then decision change , start to go the resort ( only 40 Kms to drive " ) -- there is a call -- since I was driving , did not pick up -- there is a SMS alert-- pull the car alongside -- the SMS is very nice and helpful-- it has started raining at the resort - please go back --I turn back home and ask for lunch at home -- The looks at me are not very nice -- That is the morning and afternoon gone --
Evening -- Wedding reception -- get in to the car and thanks to the " Captain " urvalum -- was at the same place between SIET and Nandanam for just 70 minutes --Then a wise call tells me to go home -- Reach home and ask for dinner -- this time had great stares ! But both lunch and dinner was served with love !! that was the big saving grace on a bad day !!

What a cruel sport this is -- last week , I wrote that the foursome had to go -- Here are their responses -- One of them creates a world record , the Dada scores a century , the "Wall " is as strong as ever -- The only person who has not let me down is the Classy act Hyderabadi ! With the bat doing the talking , I need to take back my recommendation of last week -- No -- It is better to start playing the youngsters rather than have a big vacuum when all these guys retire -- Ajay jadeja commented on this aspect very nicely in the NDTV review-- The discussion was whether Amit Misra is the replacement for Kumble and is he being groomed ? Jadeja said that we never have a plan - Things happen on their own and it is was just coincidence that we found Misra to throw leggies when Kumble is injured -- Sounds very familiar in all that we do ? Not planning !!- With all this it was a great effort by India to thrash the Aussies and it was effort by all the team members -- There was no single individual who did a lone battle for this win and that is a big thing in Indian Cricket

There is just one race to go -- The Brazilian GP scheduled for the Oct 26th will decide the winner -- In the Chinese GP last week , Hamilton answered all his critics who accused him of bad driving in the Japanese GP by driving safely and getting a clean getaway at the start to win with no pressure on him- The Ferraris meekly followed him through the race -- With seven laps to go , Raikonen allowed Massa to pass him and move Massa to the second spot so that he can have a good shot at the final GP race at Sao Paulo -- Massa is behind by seven points and needs to win at Sao Paulo ( Massa's home race ) and hope that Hamilton finishes behind him and also by at least five places behind him -- tall ask considering the fact that Hamilton drove so well at the Chinese GP - The other disappointment was Robert Kubica whom I thought could be the dark horse in this title race - Kubica did not do great at the Chinese GP and that effectively shut his title chances
