The Ind Aussie test fever -- the build ups and the match
Nothing can be bigger than the Cricket match ( home series ) and the media can make it very big-- This is what they did on the run up to the test-- First they had Sehwag calling the Aussies Cheats for claiming catches on half volley when India was in Australia -- that set the tone for Ponting to hit back ( incidentally why does it take Sehwag ten months to tell this? He could have made the remark when the Indian team was in Australia ? ) And then Sourava was brought in to the team and promptly announced his retirement at the end of the current series-- To be honest , all the foursome should go -- Rahul, VVS , Ganguly and Tendulkar should all go from the game when they are doing well-- They are scores of youngsters who just do not get the opportunity -- You should watch the rival ICL league and you will see some of the best talent that have not been considered for various reasons play their potential in the rival league--

On the actual test it was great that India could draw the match -- They dug deep and weathered the storm-- Zaheer again had a good dig-- He said that Aussies were so defensive and they had no chance of winning -- if they cannot get him and Bhajji out how will they get the rest of our start batsmen out ? Formula one
The Japanese GP was all fun -- The leaders or the trendsetters turned in to back benchers and that gave opportunity for the rest of the gang to move in to leading spots--
The Sat. qualifying went on predictable lines -- Hamilton was in front and Raikonen behind -- But in the race all hell broke loose on the first corner ( this is what a Formula one watcher loves )- Hamilton was overtaken by Raikonen and he fired back and in the process cut across many cars and this left Raikonen down to Fifth and Massa gained but that was short-lived . Hamilton lost as well and then as he tried to gain places , he shot past Massa and Massa cut in on the chicane to his left and they touched and that left Hamilton stranded on the track and he lost his position and had to allow everyone to pass -- On top he got drive through penalty for the incident and Massa did one as well -- This left the championship leader out the points table and he finished 12th - massa finished seventh and that gave him two points that cuts the lead of Hamilton to five points with two races to go-- Hamilton on 84 , Massa on 79. The gainer was Alonso who won his second consecutive GP - Singapore and now Japan but he is not one of the title contenders for this year-- I think Kubica of BMW has a good chance to have a crack as well - Kubica is on 72 twelve behind Hamilton but with two races and twenty points at stake , he is placed well to go for it -- Watch this unfold in the last two races at China and Brazil in the coming weeks
