Schumacher and the plan to return to Competitive racing--and disappointment
I had written the below and somehow i did not complete and post my blog for the week -- Sometimes sitting on things help and late on Tuesday India time , i become aware that Schumi has withdrawn from racing -- the neck niggle become a major issue -- i was wondering if i should continue the writing that i have done and then took the call to post it as it is for i loved writing what i wrote about Schumi.. so here it goes
Only Schumi can create this kind of pressure -- As the seven time world champion races against time to get fit , he is creating disturbances to the other participating teams -- While Jenson Button the current leader and Mark Weber , the runner up and Hamilton have welcomed racing with the champ , nine of the other teams have refused permission to Schumi to test the race car that he will have to use on the track -- Schumi has to be content with driving a 2007 Ferrari raced car to gain practice -- Schumi has already lost three kilos and complained of neck pain niggle after two hours of testing -- So Schumi has to get in to the car that he will get to race only on Friday Aug 21st , when the practice session opens for the European grand prix ( race day is Aug 23rd) -- Can Schumi turn this around -- He has been out of competitive racing since he retired in 2006 -- But knowing Schumi , he is going to give a serious challenge to the others and he coming back is very good for Formula one -- Ever since he departed , we do not have a driver who could be followed -- Rest of the drivers cannot get in crowds . create ripples as Schumi can , nor drive the way he does, I am excited and the Ferrari car of Schumi will be a treat to follow on the race track ( Hope the expectations do not end in a whimper !! )

Now all square and for the final test I had written that Aussies need to find a bowling hero if they need to win -- And they did not find one but three of them -- In the first innings , it was Peter Siddle and Stuart Clark ( i am amazed as to how they kept this guy out till this test ) and then in the second innings , Mitchell Johnson discovered form and ensured that Eng were humbled inside three days of the five day test -- England for their part batted poorly and bowled even worse--
With the series tied one test apiece , the final one at Oval promises to be a cliff hanger with Aussies all raring to go and win and England with Flintoff back ( he was declared fit to play in the final test ) would do all it can to erase bad memories of the fourth test and play positively to win !!
Delay and content low on this due to week end travel ( hectic one for a personal visit to a temple near Mangalore )
