We are shaped by our conversations. Every person you meet knows at least one thing you don't, don't let him or her leave without hearing it -- Robin Sharma ( fine , provided the other person is willing to listen

The Formula one at the Picturesque Circuit at Belgium

Racing returned after a summer break -- Most of the teams looked back at the past races trying to see what they can change going forward.
The race on Sunday generated lot of excitement and a typical Formula one race Thrill. Some things that contributed to the thrill --
1. The safety car was out early -- Rubens Barichello in his record 300th GP race of his career rammed in to Alonso of Ferrari and never got to finish his 300th race. ( Out Lap 1 of 44 )
2. The weather was sticky and the threat of rain kept the pit crew engaged on whey they would get the teams in to change tyres to suit the weather.
3. It was the unpredictable's that made this race good to watch and exciting.
4. Safety car came in again -- towards end of the race as Ferrari's Alonso smashed the car in to the barricades and left debris on the track.
5. Safety car brought back pressure on the leaders -- Hamilton , Webber -- Hamilton held on to win the race and also climb in to Leadership position
6. Changeable weather conditions made tyre choices something of a lottery during the race. And the last reason to slightly smile
7. Michael Schumacher climbed from 20th place to finish seventh .. He had been docked ten places in qualifying for his driving along side Barichello in the previous race and nearly pushing Barichello to the side concrete wall as Barichello tried to overtake Schumi --- and for the first time in this season , he showed some skill and talent to bring in his car at position seven.. Hamilton is now the leader with Weber just three point behind ..
Hope the rain gods intervene in every race going forward and make them exciting.

THE EPL -- this season

It has been three week ends of great football -- Some matches finishing very close and some very placid and going one way. Champions Chelsea got a dream start. They have won all the three matches so far and in a very convincing manner . The team did every thing right and I think they will be strong contenders to defend their title. ManU won two and drew one which they should have won . They have had easy teams to deal with so far and so only time will test the team . Man City which has been spending tons of pounds getting their team right , lost one of the three. Just goes to prove that you can have all the big guns playing for you , but if they do not play as a team , no name can help you. Man City have not learnt that lesson from the previous season where they spent heavily on buying players and yet did not achieve what they wanted. Liverpool is the team that needs regrouping . After Rafa's exit to Inter Milan , they are still trying to find their feet. Arsenal is there alright but they are no more contenders for the Title .. They will be team no 3 after ManU and Chelsea ( Pardon me all Gunners followers ) .. Somehow Arsene Wenger has not been able to rally his team to have crack at one of the major silverware that has been eluding them for more than five years….
New rules are coming for next season which may deprive the glamour that EPL has .. Restrictions on foreign players in the playing eleven is one rule that needs to be watched. As per the revised rule , a team has to field at least eight local players and so this is going to affect the game and the teams . Also the squad size is being trimmed to 25 -- IPL seems to have had its in these rules on number of foreign players to be fielded. Again , we can be very proud of the IPL and its success and of Lalit Modi ( Where is this man noweverdays -- lost in sheaves of paper explain the show cause notice ? )
