When it comes to protecting their grandsons , some grandparents can be as ferocious as big cats. Take Ram Singh Kathyat of Dehradun, for instance. It abandoned the child in a nearby field and fled.

What a finish this is going to be--- Lewis Hamilton had all but won the world championship-- He had to win the Chinese GP and that would have sealed the title for him-- Hamilton did well in making his dream come true-- A rookie in his first year on the circuit to win the world title is a big dream and a big ask-- Hamilton did well in his preparation in to the Chinese GP.-- He won the Saturday event of qualifying first and was on pole position for the Sunday race- However the vagaries of the weather and trouble with his tyres saw him retire on lap 32 of the 56 lap race-- Hamilton's first retirement of the season has opened up the doors to his team-mate Alonso as well as a great chance for Raikonen of Ferrari-- Hamilton leads with 107 points followed by Alonso at 103 and Raikonen at 100.. The last race at Sao Paulo Brazil will decide the winner-- So it is going to be a exciting race to the season's last race on October 21- So happy viewing

The annual rotary program where we take 60 budding students of Class XI on a camp for a week end and utilise the opportunity to develop their overall skills happened over the week end-- We had a good agenda-- the program started on Saturday with a career counselling by HR from IBM and then in the afternoon session , Bharathi , Christy Nirmla , Palaniselvi , Jeyarathi and Muthtamilselvi of our Ford team did great presentation on motivational stories and shared their success stories-- Each of them had great oratorical skills and were able to effectively bring out to the students on how hard they has to work in their early days to get in to a position of strength. They were able to relate to the students background , converse in Tamil and bring in great learning through motivational stores ( yenna , Hare and Tortoise, Deaf Frog climbing Eiffel tower , Cracked Pots etc,) I was so pleased that I was able to take them to this event and am sure that the students are looking at them as role models-- More events followed this and day one ended with a camp fire--Day 2 we had Yoga sessions and on healthy hygiene habits and creativity-- the students were dropped back to their school on Sunday evening--
The event was arranged at SIRD premises at MM nagar -- this is a sprawling govt facility with good conf rooms and hostel accommodation and canteen facilities
A great week end for us and the students of the corpn school saidapet
