When it comes to exam malpractice a plaster cast can come in handy. Recently two students of Class 12 appeared for the board exams sporting plastic casts on their arms. With the help of medical certificates they got the sanction to bring scribes to write the exam. It was later found that the duo had feigned the fracture and that the scribes were experts in the subjects. The government plans to punish the students and the doctors who issued the certificates

Only a lucky few get a chance to celebrate their 200th birthday. But Rajammal of Krishnagiri is luckier, she celebrated her 105th birthday recently. Decked in a new sari she sat at home giving a toothless smile to the guests and 195 members of her family spanning five generations. The grandiose celebration included music and a mouth watering lunch- Wow !

The Ferraris bounced back from the last week disaster at Melbourne-- They lined themselves for the race on Sunday by taking the first two positions on the grid from the Saturday qualifying race- Massa took the pole and Raikonen took the second place- More good news as the rival McLaren cars were docked five places and were pushed to ninth and tenth on the starting grid- One was confident that it would be 1-2 Ferrari show at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia- Not to be- the race went on predictable lines till the 31st lap out of the 56 lap race- Raikonen had moved to the first place after the first pit stops - Massa inexplicably spun out in to the gravel trap and lost a great advantage that the Ferrari's would have gained in both the individual as well as the constructor championship points- credit to Kovalienen of McLaren who drove steadily and finished third - Kubica of BMW took the second place- Lewis Hamilton struggled with bad luck on the pit stops and with tyres that were not good on the Sepang track to finish fifth - It was a easy race for Raikonen as he won comfortably but there is no denying the fact that Ferrari would be ruing the missed opportunity to get to the podium by Massa

EPL
Manchester United climbed back to the top over the week end - it won a key match against Liverpool and has 73 points- Chelsea beat leaders Arsenal and has moved to 68 while Arsenal has 67- There are seven more matches to go in this English football season and it is going to go the wire to get a winner.
