Movie Abiyum Nanum
This Tamil movie is a great watch for parents who have girls as their siblings -- Normally a heavy subject ( I still remember Sivaji -- Nadiya starrer that you could barely watch for the amount of sentiment and crying that went on in that movie ( name forgotten ) ) , this has been dealt firmly but with lot of practicality and humour to it -- Not many will relish this movie but all parents will -- The crowd at the theature also reflected this sentiment -- there was no youngsters - it was all Oldies , middlies and young parents -- Commercially it may not ring the coffers but a Prakashraj has the quality and passion to make a movie like this -- Again , he played the father role to a great perfection -- Lot of places , I was able to relate with my daughter as well -- You get the satisfaction of seeing a good movie at the end of it -- Mind you , not a single fight in the movie ( songs could have been avoided as well ) Wholesome family movie -- the son in law who steals the daughter away from the father , the beggar who has no name all are great characters that teaches you reality of the world and life - Incidentally the SIL 's name was Joginder Sing ( aha , FBSC guys does this ring a bell ? )
Watch the movie with your family -- brothers sisters , cousins parents , not with the mottai pasaga!!

ManUtd did what I wanted them to do -- over the week , they beat Wigan and Bolton and after 21 games of the 38 have been completed are on top of the English premier league -- they still need to continue their winning ways -- they have lot of injury worries to their key players but being the ManUtd Fan expect them to manage and do well

Dear Sri, you said it right. A wonderful movie to watch. A revelation to parents who do everything to children to satisfy thier wish. Good measure of fun with a heavy message -- Be practical, trust them and prepare to set them free.

40 Years of Employment -- Gratitude Series 1

  I completed 40 years of being employed  continously recently - That was a long period of time and many others  like me would have crossed this milestone in their careers. I wanted to use this milestone to thank so many people who have helped, provided me with opportunities, supported me, trusted me and wholeheartedly wanted me to do well.  My first thanks of course goes to the Almighty for his abundant blessings. My first full time employment started in Aug 1984 enrolling myself as a Articled Assistant to pursue my Chartered Accountancy (CA). Before getting to this point, my whole career was shaped up by one of my mother’s cousins who I took as a role model  and got in to  Commerce Stream - V S Kumar or Kumar Anna to me was the guiding force for me to get into the commerce stream.
